Strategy doesn't require a formal process or a big team. At its simplest, it's just a clear, written answer to who you're building for and why.
New product owners often start with a feature list instead of a direction. A feature list without a direction just becomes a to-do list that never says no to anything.
You don't need a 20-page document. One page that names your user, their problem, and how you'll know you're solving it is enough to start making better decisions.
The goal at this stage isn't a perfect strategy — it's a written one you can revisit and improve as you learn more.
